Type of drive (vehicle)

The term 'Type of drive (vehicle)' as it applies to the area of energy can be defined as ' Refers to which wheels the engine power is delivered to, the so-called 'drive wheels.' Rear-wheel drive has drive wheels on the rear of the vehicle. Front-wheel drive, a newer technology, has drive wheels on the front ofthe vehicle. Four-wheel drive uses all four wheels as drive wheels and is found mostly on Jeep-like vehicles and trucks, though it is becoming increasingly more common on station wagons and vans'.
